ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage purchasing parameters in AS400 and keep it updated and accurate
- Placement of orders with vendors, as well as, expediting, deferring and canceling.
- Master the progress of ongoing new programs and make it happen as fast as possible
- Communication and management of vendors
- Daily order delivery communications
- Weekly forecast communication
- Monthly / Periodically review with vendors to point out their strengthen and weakness and action plan if needed
- Yearly / Periodically review the purchasing volume/value with Vendor to set up next price target
- Analyzing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels; do not store slow moving aged inventory
- Basic technical mastery of product managed by
- Understanding the basic test need and how it performed
- Filing all the technical standard and master sample
- Basic production process
- Responsible for completing personal professional development plan
- Performs other related jobs as assigned by Supervisor/ Dept Head.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Four-year university degree or similar level of knowledge and experience
- Apics certification preferred
- Experience
- > 3-5 year experience in purchasing 3.Knowledge of:
