To ensure purchasing effectiveness in term of quality, quantity and cost for the assigned commodities

• Closely work with MRO planner and MRO purchasing supervisor and related departments to ensure JIT of MRO purchased items;
• To develop new vendors to reduce MRO purchasing cost;
• Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance;
• Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time;
• Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment;
• Coordinate with MRO planner to build an appropriate inventory levels for certain MRO stock room;
• Involved in writing up purchasing contracts;
• Works on various projects and teams to improve quality, productivity, cost, and safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.    Education

Required

• Four-year university degree or similar level of knowledge and experience
• Good English skill both speaking and writing
• Qualified in purchasing course is an advantage

2.    Experience

• 3-year experience in buyer position for international companies

3.    Knowledge of:

• Technical and equipment purchase.
• Product and process knowledge
• Understanding of production equipment and spare parts is advantages.
• Able to handle international purchasing
