Open PositionThe International Account Specialist is responsible for providing excellent service to both international and U.S. customers by building strong relationships and facilitating open communication. This role involves coordinating customer orders with various departments to ensure timely delivery and addressing customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction. The specialist must manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining composure and accuracy in data entry to support customer retention.
Customer Communication: Professionally engage with customers to manage order statuses, pricing, changes, and shipment details while collaborating with various departments to ensure satisfaction.
Product Inquiries: Answer customer questions regarding product specifications and consult relevant resources for information.
Order Management: Enter and manage customer orders, including cancellations and handling issues related to replacements or discontinued items.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues using strong customer service and negotiation skills.
Vendor Coordination: Establish effective communication and working relationships with international vendors and staff.
Invoicing: Initiate invoicing to ensure accurate billing for products and services.
Container Program Communication: Advise customers on container programs and assist with freight rate quotes as needed.
Record Maintenance: Accurately update internal records regarding customer requirements and shipment statuses.
Compliance: Maintain international correspondence in line with U.S. customs regulations.
Data Management: Collect and update key process measures for team efficiency.
SOP Maintenance: Help maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures for the team with managerial approval.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing changes.
Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about importing/exporting regulations and communicate changes to management.

Bachelor degree in International Business, Business Administration, Import/Export or equivalent experience.
Have 1 year of experience or below.
