Design and develop packaging solutions including cartons, foam, PE bags, and other packaging materials to meet US standards and customer requirements while ensuring product protection during handling and transportation.
Create, standardize, and maintain packing SOPs for all UPH products, including Inline products and New Go developments.
Analyze packaging-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for damages occurring during packing, storage, and shipping processes.
Collaborate closely with Sourcing and QC teams to develop new packaging materials and improve existing packaging solutions.
Work directly with US teams to align packaging engineering standards, communicate technical updates, and implement packaging improvements.
Support and coordinate with US teams in resolving packaging issues effectively and within required timelines.
Drive packaging cost optimization initiatives while maintaining or improving product quality and packaging performance.
Establish and improve packaging methods, processes, and tools to ensure production efficiency and consistency.
Build, implement, and maintain packaging engineering systems and standards across production lines.
Conduct audits and monitor compliance of packaging materials, methods, and processes according to company standards.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives focusing on packaging quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
2. Experience
At least 1 year of experience in Packaging Engineering or related positions.
3. Technical Knowledge
Good understanding of packaging materials such as cartons, foam, plastics, and related materials.
Familiarity with packaging testing standards (e.g., ISTA) is an advantage.
